Small things #3

  • My anthropology professor is from Minnesota.
  • ANTH 111 sounds like it’s going to be a fun course. We’re learning about specific cultures around the world, which I find fascinating.
  • My ID 161: Dreamweaver professor is hilarious (although we only meet twice a semester).
  • At work today, we found a great solution to the nursing package that wasn’t insensitive to readers.

Small things #2

  • The temperature was high enough today to wear a light sweatshirt to class.
  • I slept in until 3:30 p.m. (My first class is at 6:30 p.m.).
  • I earned the “Super Mayor” badge on Four Square. #nerd #OccupyBallState
  • My economics professor uses words like “bugger” and “ne’er-do-well.”
  • I got out of a 3-hour class early. #WOOT

Small things #1

  • I forgot to buy an ingredient for a recipe I had already started cooking, but was able to drive to Wally World and back in less than half an hour to get it.
  • In reference to the previous bullet, I was able to drive down my street to Wally World. I haven’t been able to do this from July to December 2011 because a major intersection was under construction in order to turn a four-way stop light into a roundabout. I’ve been able to cut nearly ten minutes out of my travel time since it opened up!
  • I was able to spend time with a few of my Daily News friends.
  • Kelly and I chatted until 5:15 a.m. after work (time flies lately).
